Computer based training is a method of training in which computers are used as a medium to impart training to students who are not sitting at the same location. It is a very effective training tool for computer training like learning new software applications, or working on Microsoft versions since students can practice what they learn on computers.
There are UK CBT (computer based training) course for certifications like Microsoft’s MCSE, MCSA, MCDBA, Cisco certifications like CCNA, CCMP, CCDA through out England and Wales. Many UK computer training courses are developed in partnership with companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco and others.
However, there is no limit to the topics which one can study through UK CBT. There are general and post graduate courses also on offer through CBT method as this is a very convenient method for students and working professionals. UK Computer training courses can be delivered through CD-ROMs, DVDs, through internet and intranet.
Most of the training videos are self study and instructor led training courses. Out of these the web based training methods can be very interactive and allow many more conveniences. Students can review and go back to the contents over and over again. Many companies also choose CBT mode of training for their employees because it is cost effective and saves a lot of time.
